Michelle and Nick met me at the Black Creek Preserve trail head in Evesham, NJ for their engagement session. I usually ask clients, “How do you feel in front of the camera?” and I appreciate an honest answer. One of them admitted, “I feel so awkward.” It’s not unusual to worry that your engagement photos might feel awkward. You’re meeting a stranger who is documenting intimacy with your partner. Walking along the trails gave us a little bit of time to get to know each other before beginning their engagement photos. All you have to do is trust your photographer and be in the moment with your favorite person! I give you prompts to feel more comfortable and to help guide you with how to pose. We walked a little bit into the hiking trail to find that it was closed due to a flooded lake, so we wandered further into the gorgeous gold and green trails in South Jersey during the fall. In a short time, both Nick and Michelle became more comfortable in front of the camera and the outcome is gorgeous. They were so sweet and full of love!
I love hiking so woodland engagement sessions are one of my favorites! Thanks for viewing.
